Many churches can’t afford to have a staff member whose primary responsibility is marriage and parenting. Frequently, anything done in those churches is through laypeople or overloaded staff members. The issue isn’t lack of desire; it’s usually lack of time or skills.
Harmony in the Home wants to come alongside those churches to enhance marriage and parenting ministries. We will train marriage mentors and help grow or set up a marriage mentor program. Harmony offers additional training in marriage counseling. We also offer parenting classes.
We don’t charge churches for those services. The only costs incurred would be some training expenses or if we spoke at one of the services.

In this conference couples will learn to receive their needs met by focusing on their spouse first. Communication tools will be shared that can reduce time spent in conflict resolution by 75%, with both spouses feeling heard and understood.

God clearly sets out His intent in creating two distinct genders in Genesis, chapter 1. Learn how God set up marriage to work in Genesis 2. Find out the far reaching consequences of mankind’s fall and the only solution to that in Genesis 3
Parenting - “Raising a Child You Can Live With”
This is Harmony’s signature conference on parenting. Parents will learn their God given responsibility in raising their child(ren). Ineffective parenting attitudes and tools will be exposed and replaced with attitudes and tools that are effective and respectful – to both parents and children.
